Not everyone is ready to go passwordless just yet, so we also support TOTP for you to add security to those old, legacy sites and applications.

🔢 Adding a TOTP in the Allthenticator

There a few different ways to add a TOTP in the app. Simply goto the TOTP page and select the ➕ icon in the top right

  1. Scan the presented QR code on the website
  2. Manually enter the code details
    1. Enter each field individually
    2. Paste a URI
  3. Import from file
  4. Import from a QR code (that was exported from another app)
    1. You you import your OTPs from another app (e.g., Google Authenticator) by taking a screenshot of the QR code that the app gives you when you export and selecting Share with.. and selecting the Allthenticator app

⬇️ Exporting to your TOTPs

If you decide you want to export your seeds to another app, you can do it from settings.

Settings → OTP Code Settings → Export saved codes

All of your seeds will be exported to a JSON file
